The Winners
The Institute of Directors has announced the 2009 winners of its IoD North West Director of the Year Awards, at a large dinner event at the Manchester Hilton Hotel. Over 400 guests attended the sixth annual awards, hosted by BBC North West Tonight presenter Ranvir Singh.
Darrell Matthews, regional director (North West) commented: "These awards are the culmination of a long and hard process and the winning directors are worthy candidates. In an extremely tough year for businesses in the region, many of the winners have faced the challenges with determination, talent and entrepreneurial spirit, and have succeeded."
