
Armstrong Craven wins FIRM award for Microsoft partnership
Judges praised Armstrong Craven for “incorporating Microsoft values into their own DNA/work” after announcing that the talent mapping and pipelining specialist had won the Best Supplier Partnership at The FIRM Awards 2017.
The Judges went on to say: “They (AC and Microsoft) tackled the complexity of recruitment together – and that’s how the partnership operated.”
They added: “I wanted to work with them on the basis of what they were able to demonstrate.”
Established in 2013, The FIRM Awards celebrate the very best of in-house recruitment excellence, innovation and best practice. They act as an inspiration to fellow members of The FIRM, setting the standard for in-house recruiters and providing an opportunity for members to recognise the achievements of their peers in a prestigious and inspiring environment.
The judges of the awards are all Senior Talent Acquisition professionals with track records of success within the industry and are therefore well positioned to assess the very best in Talent Acquisition.
The FIRM Award for Best Supplier Partnership recognised the work carried out by Armstrong Craven and Microsoft in enabling the technology giant to successfully scale up its cloud business, Azure.
AC was selected to partner with Microsoft’s own internal talent acquisition team following a competitive tender process.
In less than six months, over 2,000 candidates had been sourced and more than 300 roles filled with activity across 25 markets in Europe, India, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa.
