The information we collect

Personally Identifiable Information
Armstrong Craven collects personal data from individuals in order to provide services as an Executive Search and Intelligence company. Typically this data comprises what is included in a Curriculum Vitae (For example Name, Contact details, Employment history, Qualifications, Skills, Languages and Interests).
We make every effort to ensure that any information held is accurate and as up-to-date as possible. By submitting your personal information to Armstrong Craven, you indicate your willingness to be considered, when appropriate, for any of Armstrong Craven's confidential assignments.
It is not Armstrong Craven's policy to seek any sensitive information unless legally required in order to complete the particular assignment. Sensitive information includes data relating to physical or mental health, religious or similar beliefs, trade union membership, race or ethnic origin, political opinions, sexual life or criminal record. If an individual provides this information, he or she will be required to give explicit consent for us to hold such information.
Armstrong Craven automatically receives and records website information on our server logs from your browser. Data collected may include dates and times of visits, pages viewed and the time spent on the site. This data is collected on an aggregate basis without any association to your personal information so that you remain anonymous.
How we use and disclose information
Personally Identifiable Information
All information collected or provided to us is entered into our database. Only Armstrong Craven employees have access to this data, which is used only for the purposes of providing Search and Intelligence related services.
An individual's personal data will only be disclosed to specific and named client companies with an individual's prior agreement. An individual's data will not be disclosed to any other third party unless Armstrong Craven is required to do so by law.
Armstrong Craven uses aggregated information collected from the website in order to enhance the website and to make it easier, faster and friendlier to use. In addition, IP addresses are monitored for security purposes but these are not linked to any personal information.
Additionally, your personal information may be aggregated and used anonymously in order to provide industry, marketing or trend analysis statistics.
Armstrong Craven takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal information under our control.
All Armstrong Craven employees undergo training on data privacy and security and are required to comply with our strict internal standards in these areas.
In accordance with applicable national data privacy legislation, an individual may have the right to contact Armstrong Craven to establish whether or not we hold personal data on him or her.
Any individual with a record in our database has the right to request a copy of any of his or her personal information. We may need to ask the individual to provide appropriate confirmation of identity before processing a request.
Any individual with a record in our database has the right to request that we rectify any inaccuracies in his or her personal data or that his or her record be removed from our database and other systems.
If, for good reason, we are unable to comply with such a request, we will let the individual know.
